Ms. Rihanna Fenty dropped the new awaited single “Russian Roulette” to the masses. The buzz worthy first single signaled a mass frenzy Tuesday morning from Twitter to Blogs. Did Rihanna deliver? We’ll leave that up to you. But we can definitely say things have gotten interesting for Fall now that Rihanna has arrived.
“Russian Roulette” penned by friend Ne-yo, is immensely dark. The lyrical content plays on a over-the-edge abusive relationship. Rihanna takes a deep sighm and as things unravel you wonder how will it end? What starts of as cold and daunting, suddenly builds, until the final lyrical “As my life flashes before my eyes. I’m wondering will I ever see another sunrise? So many won’t get the chance to say goodbye. But it’s too late too pick up the value of my life”. Ending in a bang- literally. The little Miss Sunshine we all knew is gone, and now Rihanna is ready to enter a new era with the risky “Rated R”.
